Health Canada issues recall for Quaker and Cap’n Crunch products due to possible Salmonella contamination

Health Canada has issued a recall for a number of Quaker and Cap’n Crunch granola bars and cereals due to possible Salmonella contamination.

Some of these products have been or may have been distributed in our schools as part of our nutrition programs. Any remaining products are being removed from our schools.

Health Canada advises the following:

  • If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider.
  • Check to see if you have recalled products.
  • Do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products.
  • Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.
