June 1 to 16: Lasalle Secondary School hosts 2016 Art Show

The Lasalle Secondary School Arts Department will host its 2016 Art Show from Wednesday, June 1, 2016 to Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the school library.

The exhibition will feature art from students in Grades 9 to 12 including drawings, paintings and mixed media. Several 6 by 4 foot paintings will also be on display.

A special reception will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 6:30 pm to launch the exhibit.

Guests will enjoy musical performances from the Lasalle Senior and Junior Jazz Bands.

Finger foods and refreshments will be served.

Admission is free.

“Our students and staff are thrilled to share Lasalle Secondary School’s artistic talent with the school and the community,” said Principal Maureen McNamara. “Everyone is welcome to attend the opening celebration.”

Those unable to attend the reception are invited to a special viewing on Tuesday, June 2, 2016 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the school library.

Lasalle Secondary School is located at 1545 Kennedy Street in Sudbury.
