Lasalle Secondary School hosts Animal Awareness Fun Fair on January 16

Lasalle Secondary School will host an Animal Awareness Fun Fair on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
This event is being presented by the Grade 12 World Issues class to raise awareness and funds for the Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre in Lively.
“We want to spread the word that animals are important and that they should also be cared for and considered in today’s society,” says student Jillien Lortie. “We invite everyone in the community to join us for the Fun Fair at our school.”
World Issues teacher, Corinne Yantha, acknowledges EcoLeague – Learning for a Sustainable Future for its generous support of this initiative.
