Lasalle Secondary School hosts Virtual Open House on February 16th

Students in Grades 6 and 8 and their parents/guardians are invited to Lasalle Secondary School’s Virtual Open House on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Videos and presentations will be available at lasallesecondaryschool.com.

Lasalle Secondary School offers English and French Immersion to students from Grades 7 to 12 in newly renovated facilities. “Lasalle Secondary School is an exceptional place to learn,” says Principal Maureen McNamara. “Join us online to explore our many programs and pathways that will open doors for your future.”

Lasalle Secondary School has a variety of dynamic opportunities available to students – from a diverse Arts program which includes Animation and Film Studies, to Business, Advanced Placement (AP), the Sport and Healthy, Active Living Program (SHAL) and a Millwright program new to the school this year.

Specialist High Skills Majors are available to students in five sectors: Business – Management; Construction – Modern Residential Construction and Woodworking Concepts; Energy – Renewable Energy; Sports – Sports Industry; and Transportation Industry – Truck and Coach.

These Ministry of Education approved programs allow students to focus their learning on specific sectors while meeting the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. SHSMs help students transition from secondary school to apprenticeship training, college, university or the workplace.

Students can also enrol in Co-operative Education, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) and Dual Credits through Cambrian College.
