Lasalle Secondary School presents vocal recital on June 11th with focus on love

June 6, 2019

The Lasalle Secondary School Music Department will present its second annual vocal recital on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

The concert will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm in the Drama Room (Room 114).

This year’s theme is love and human relationships.

Students will sing songs they have either learned from a score, written themselves, or practised for this performance.

The songs speak to the complexities of our relationships with one another.

“We chose this theme because we always need more love in our world – love and acceptance of oneself, love and care for our family members and friends, and love and acceptance of all of humanity,” said vocal music teacher Corinne Yantha.

Admission is by donation. Everyone is welcome.

Lasalle Secondary School is located at 1545 Kennedy Street in Sudbury.
