Levack Public School receives donation from Walmart Canada
February 28, 2018
Levack Public School will purchase new library books thanks to a generous donation from Walmart Canada. Dawn Del-Pivo, Assistant Store Manager of Walmart Sudbury North Supercentre, right, presented a $1,000 cheque to Levack Public School parent volunteer Reina Holmes on February 20, 2018. The books will be added to the school library this spring. “We would like to thank Walmart Canada for promoting literacy in our school,” said Levack Public School Principal Stephen Winckel. “Reading opens the door to a whole world of discovery. It also helps students develop foundational skills for future learning in all subjects.”
