Lo-Ellen Park, Algonquin and Jean Hanson closed due to COVID-19

In-person learning has been cancelled at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School on Monday, March 1, 2021 as Rainbow District School Board assesses the impact of COVID-19.

In an abundance of caution, classes will be delivered remotely, where possible.

Updates about the remainder of the week will be shared with students and families.

Public Health Sudbury & Districts has directed that Algonquin Road Public School
be closed to and including March 12, 2021 due to an outbreak of COVID-19.

Jean Hanson Public School has also been dismissed to and including March 12.

As a result, the following satellite sites will be closed – SHILO, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program (CAMHP) at Health Sciences North and the Intensive Support Program (ISP) at Lockerby Composite School.

School staff will reach out to affected students and families to provide remote learning.

Public Health continues to investigate and monitor the situation.
