May 11: Central Manitoulin Public School offers workshops for parents
Central Manitoulin Public School will offer a variety of workshops for parents/guardians on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The workshops will be offered at the school at 56 Yonge Street in Mindemoya.
Focused on the theme “Learning Together / Succeeding Together”, workshops will explore a number of topics of interest to parents – learning disabilities, helping your child with math, assistive technology, positive parenting, packing healthy lunches and Internet safety.
There will also be door prizes, draws, and refreshments. Manitoulin Family Resources will provide child care and children’s activities.
The workshops, being supported through a Ministry of Education Parents Reaching Out grant, are free and all parents/guardians are welcome.
