May 21 to 24: Lasalle Secondary School presents “Ten Lost Years”

The Lasalle Secondary School Theatre Company will present its annual spring play, "Ten Lost Years", Wednesday, May 21, 2014 to Saturday, May 24, 2014.
The play, by Jack Winter and Cedric Smith, takes place at 7 pm, at Lasalle Secondary School, 1545 Kennedy Street.
What was the Canadian experience of the Depression like? "Ten Lost Years" is made up of true stories from that time and place, collected from men and women from across Canada.
In one story, a man tries to justify why he stole a neighbour’s wreath for his wife’s funeral; in another, a hobo explains the best and worst way to eat squirrel; in another, a woman describes her fascination with Shirley Temple; and in another, a woman tries to organize a revolution against the government of Canada.
Each story is true, and each story is incredible.
This play comes with a warning. The mature content is suitable for 14 years and older.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, available at the school’s front office, by calling (705) 566-2280 and at the door.
