May 24 to 28: Lasalle Secondary School presents “Almost, Maine”

The Lasalle Secondary School Theatre Company will present "Almost, Maine" from Tuesday, May 24, 2016 to Saturday, May 28, 2016.

This romantic comedy by John Cariani takes place at 7 pm at Lasalle Secondary School, 1545 Kennedy Street.

"Almost, Maine” tells the story about a town that is so far north, it’s almost in Canada.

And it almost doesn’t exist because residents never got around to getting organized.

So it’s just…Almost.

One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, the residents of Almost find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways.

Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded.

And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

It’s love… but not quite.

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, available at the school’s main office and at the door.
