May 26: Sudbury Secondary School to showcase student talent at “LOOK @ MEDIA!”

Sudbury Secondary School’s Media Arts Department will proudly present LOOK @ MEDIA! – a one night only showcase of original student work on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 7 pm at the Sudbury Indie Cinema.

From animations and digital illustrations to video projects and experimental storytelling, the evening will highlight the innovative and diverse work of Sudbury Secondary School’s young artists and creators.

The showcase will also feature the award-winning work of Jeremy Wafer and Matthew Boarder who garnered a silver medal in the 3D Character Animation category at the Skills Ontario Competition – a true testament to the calibre of talent emerging from the Arts Education Program at Sudbury Secondary School.

“LOOK @ MEDIA! is a celebration of creativity and the power of youth voices,” said Sudbury Secondary School Principal Heather Downey. “Our students and staff are demonstrating what’s possible with digital tools, and they are thrilled to share their work with the community. Everyone is welcome to join us.”

Admission is by a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op is located at 162 Mackenzie Street in Sudbury.
