Nesbitt, Checkeris and Westmount alumni invited to take a walk down memory lane

Rainbow District School Board students in the French Immersion Program in New Sudbury will attend the newly built Lasalle Elementary School when classes resume this fall.

Carl A. Nesbitt Public School, Ernie Checkeris Public School and Westmount Avenue Public School will close at the end of the current school year.

To mark the transition, former staff, students and families are invited to visit Westmount Avenue Public School one last time on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Former staff, students and families are invited to visit Ernie Checkeris Public School and Carl A. Nesbitt Public School on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 1 pm to 2 pm.

Community members with a connection to the schools are also welcome.
