Parents of teenagers invited to free interactive seminar March 31st
Parents of teenagers are invited to a free interactive seminar at Lively District Secondary School on Monday, March 31st, 2008 at 7 pm in the school gym. Youth and Adult Motivator Monique Howat will lead a workshop on "The Language of Inspiration and Influence" and "Creative Consequences for Bad Behaviour".
The Language of Inspiration and Influence
Parents will learn how to use simple phrases from the language of inspiration and influence. Parents will discover how they can feed their teens a steady feast of inspiration that can influence them to the top of the self-esteem and success peak.
Creative Consequences for Bad Behaviour
Fostering good behaviour in teens can be complicated. While they are striving to be independent thinkers, they are also questioning boundaries and authority. Parents will learn how to implement creative strategies for nurturing good behaviour in their teens.
Monique Howat, who inspires and motivates youth and adults with over 100 presentations a year, believes that "an average person with average talent, ambition and education can outdo the most brilliant genius in our society, if that person confidently believes in themselves." The objective of her workshops is to super charge participants to feel motivated, inspired and excited about their lives and futures.
Monique Howat is the author and architect of the highly acclaimed leadership youth programs delivered through her company, Confident Girls and Guys. She offers workshops on leadership, essential soft-skills, training and teambuilding for large and small organizations. She is also a frequent contributor to e-zines, books, magazines and web pod-casts all over the world.
