Queen Elizabeth II Public School donates to Sudbury Food Bank

Queen E cheque presentation Sudbury Food Bank

Queen Elizabeth II Public School hosted a yard sale and barbecue in support of the Sudbury Food Bank on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, and raised over $2,000.

Students in Christine Beaudry’s Grade 1/2 class and Erin Picard’s Grade 4/5 class, having learned the importance of being active and involved citizens, were moved to help those in their community who rely on the food bank.

“Once again, the Queen Elizabeth Royals demonstrated kindness, compassion and generosity,” says Principal Jim Wachnuk. “They take pride in their support of the Sudbury Food Bank and the individuals who need it most.”
