R.L. Beattie Baron Bots sweep regional qualifier and advance to provincials

The R. L. Beattie Baron Bots garnered first place overall at the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Regional Qualifier on Saturday, December 3, 2016 for their robot. The Bots’ robot also earned the highest overall score in the Project, Robot and Core Values categories. The Baron Bots will compete at the FLL Ontario Provincial Championship in Waterloo on Saturday, February 4, 2017. The R.L. Beattie Baron Bots include from left, coach Julie Selway, Logan Koski, Nathaniel Willock, Amber Kabaroff-Scott, Kaeden Ward, Samantha Lazure, coach Dave Willock, Parker Benson and Edward Xiong.
