R.L. Beattie students make centrepieces for Extendicare York

Students in the Early Learning Program at R.L. Beattie Public School are brightening up Thanksgiving for the residents at Extendicare York. The students, teacher Cindy Belanger, far right, and parent volunteers, from left, Lynn Kabaroff, Andrea Ford, Shelly Swords and Rita MacDonald have made centrepieces with pumpkins and flowers.  The recreation room at Extendicare York will be decorated throughout Thanksgiving. Students were so excited about the project that they wanted to create similar centrepieces at home for their families.
