Rainbow Board hosts Pathways Planning event on May 14th
Students in Grades 9 to 11 and their parents/guardians are invited to an information session designed to help students make key decisions in planning for post-secondary. All students are welcome regardless of which secondary school they currently attend.
Rainbow District School Board will present Pathways Planning – Your Future, Your Plan on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Local 6500 Hospitality, Conference & Education Centre (formerly the United Steelworkers Hall).
“Students and their parents/guardians are welcome to learn how to plan for an exciting future following graduation,” says Director of Education Bruce Bourget. “It is important that students take the time to learn about the many pathway options available to them while they are in secondary school. Everyone is invited to join us”.
During the event, guests will learn about and explore a variety of pathway options for university, college, apprenticeship and the world of work.
Attendees will also hear about programs such as Co-operative Education, Specialist High Skills Majors, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program and Dual Credits.
The Local 6500 Hospitality, Conference & Education Centre is located at 66 Brady Street in Sudbury.
