Rainbow District School Board gathers input for five-year strategic plan

Rainbow District School Board has been gathering input for the creation of its five-year strategic plan. Strategic Directions 2022-2027 will define the vision, mission, values and priorities of the Board and its schools.

Students, parents/guardians, staff, education partners, school communities and Trustees are participating in the strategic planning process by engaging in consultations and/or completing an online survey.

An Ad Hoc Working Group of Trustees will review input. The Board’s Strategic Planning Committee will receive an update on the consultations on January 11, 2022. A draft of Strategic Directions 2022-2027 will be presented to the Board on January 25, 2022. These meetings are live streamed. Links will be posted on rainbowschools.ca prior to the start of each meeting.

“We welcomed the opportunity to engage in conversations with our stakeholders as we work together to chart our path forward,” said Director of Education Bruce Bourget. “I would like to thank all participants in the process. Your voice matters and we value the feedback.”He added: “Putting our priorities into focus will ensure resources are allocated to what matters the most. Strategic Directions 2022-2027 will serve as a compass for decision-making, with students first and foremost.”
