Rainbow Schools celebrate Literacy Day

Carl A. Nesbitt Public School celebrated Literacy Day on January 27th. Students had an opportunity to read to the therapy dogs from Magical Paws. Magical Paws owner, Annette Lumbis, left, brought a team of five handlers and dogs to the school. Participating students included, from left, Tyler Asiniwe, Abigail Cardinal and Alexia Deschamps.

Literacy Day at Ernie Checkeris Public School was celebrated with literacy activities and lunch. Students also read to their parents. Joanna Witek Dobson listens to son Owen read to her in French.
