Rainbow Schools collect 5,500 clothing items for Winter Clothing Drive

Since September, students in Rainbow Schools have been collecting gently used winter clothing items for local families in need. The drive, spearheaded by Cooper Equipment Rental, helps to support Our Children, Our Future. In total, some 10,000 clothing items were collected from communities across the city. Rainbow Schools contributed 1288 coats, 373 snowsuits, 223 pairs of boots and 3,594 accessory items to this total. Collecting items were Walden Public School students, from left, Callie Bertrand, Rowan Eberhardt, Bradley Halonen and Emma Delamorandiere.
