Rainbow Schools host community concert to support Joan Mantle Music Trust

Talented music students from three Rainbow Schools will join together for a community concert in support of the Joan Mantle Music Trust on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The concert will take place at 6 pm in the Confederation Secondary School gym.

The evening will feature a variety of musical performances from Confederation Secondary School under the direction of Meghan Saaremets, C.R. Judd Public School under the direction of Heather Charsley, and Valley View Public School under the direction of Ken Rauhanen.

Admission is by donation. All proceeds will support the Joan Mantle Music Trust.

The Joan Mantle Music Trust will provide instruments to all three schools in the 2018-2019 school year. Confederation Secondary School also received funding during the 2017-2018 school year.

“We are thrilled to host a community concert to support the Joan Mantle Music Trust, which has given so much to our school’s music program,” says Marty Punkari, Principal of Confederation Secondary School. “We invite everyone to enjoy our showcase of student talent as we celebrate the holiday season.”

Confederation Secondary School is located at 1918 Main Street in Val Caron.
