Rainbow teachers receive CPR and defibrillator training

Approximately 40 health and physical education teachers in Rainbow Schools received CPR and defibrillator training from the ACT Foundation during the Professional Learning Day on Monday, November 21, 2011.
Participants included Michael Asunmaa from Lockerby Composite School and, from left, Glenn Murray and Dave Winsa of Chelmsford Valley District Composite School and Matthew Cootes of Lively District Secondary School.
The Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation, a national charitable organization, has been raising funds to provide defibrillators to secondary schools. Physical education teachers in Rainbow Schools were trained as CPR and defibrillator instructors for their students.
