What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Register now for Adult Education Courses
Registrations
are now being accepted for Block 5 of Adult Education courses being offered by
Rainbow District School Board. Adult Day classes begin Tuesday, May 1 and run until
Tuesday, June 19.
To
register, visit the Continuing Education Centre at Sudbury Secondary School’s
Davidson Street entrance, Room 026A, weekdays from 10 am to 11:30 am and 1:30
pm to 3 pm. Registrations will be
accepted until Wednesday, April 25.
FREE
credit courses are available during the day to any adults 19 years of age and
older and out of high school for at least one semester. Adults can earn two
high school credits in approximately six weeks.
The
Continuing Education Centre offers adult day classes in mathematics, English, and
hospitality and tourism. Co-op
Education opportunities are also available.
When
registering, students should bring a copy of their transcript from the last
high school attended as well as a birth certificate and health card.
