Register now for Sudbury Secondary School Reunion 2008

It’s time to register for the reunion of the century. More than 400 people have already registered for the 100th anniversary reunion of Sudbury Secondary School from July 31st to August 3rd, 2008. Have you?

To register, simply log on to www.sssreunion2008.com. If you don’t have access to the Internet, you can pick up a copy of the registration form at Sudbury Secondary School or Records on Wheels in downtown Sudbury.

2008 marks the centennial of the first high school graduating class in Sudbury. “We are marking this milestone in Sudbury’s educational history by hosting a reunion of the alumni and staff of all schools that occupied the College Street – Mackenzie Street campus,” says Reunion Chair Paul Soucie.

“If you attended or taught at Sudbury Mining and Technical School, Sudbury High School, Sheridan Technical School or Sudbury Secondary School, plan to visit us on the Civic Holiday weekend in 2008,” he says.

Alumni will tour era rooms, meet old friends, attend the largest school dance ever, entertain or be entertained at the Reunion2008 Variety Show, play a round of golf, savour fine wines or bid farewell at the closing banquet.

“Registration and event tickets can now be purchased on our secure website,” says Soucie.  Once registered, alumni will go directly to the Shopping Cart section of the website where they can purchase reunion registration and event tickets.

“Tickets purchased will be included in each individual’s registration package available at the Registration Desk at Reunion 2008,” says Soucie. “Some events have limited capacity, so we are encouraging everyone to purchase event tickets early.”
