What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Registrations for Adult Education courses begin February 13
Rainbow District School Board will be accepting registrations for Block 4 of Adult Education courses from Monday, February 13 to Friday, February 24. Adult Day classes will take place from Wednesday, February 29 to Thursday, April 26.
To register, visit the Continuing Education Centre at Sudbury Secondary School’s Davidson Street entrance from 10 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 3 pm daily.
FREE credit courses are available during the day to any adults 19 years of age and older and out of high school for at least one semester. Adults can earn two high school credits in approximately six weeks.
The Continuing Education Centre offers adult day classes in mathematics, English, Aboriginal studies, civics/careers, math, chemistry, history and designing your future. There is also an opportunity to participate in a Co-op placement in the afternoons.
When registering, students should bring a copy of their transcript from the last high school attended as well as a birth certificate and health card.
