Special Board Meeting March 30 to discuss provincial proposal on remote learning

Rainbow District School Board will hold a special Board meeting on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 6 pm to discuss the provincial proposal to make remote learning a permanent option for parents/guardians.

Given the significance and scope of the topic, the meeting will be livestreamed via rainbowschools.ca.

“Continuing remote learning for students beyond the current pandemic is a fundamental shift in how public education will be delivered in Ontario,” said Rainbow District School Board Chair Doreen Dewar.

The Province has indicated its intent to make a decision on the future of how children and young people will learn in Ontario schools in the next few weeks.
