What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?

Students on Manitoulin Island win first for Remembrance Day Poster Contest

Lauren Mailloux of Assiginack Public School and Kaylee Cress of Central Manitoulin Public School captured the top honours in their respective categories in the Royal Canadian Legions Zone H-3 Remembrance Day Poster Contest.  The students will now go on to compete in the district level of the contest.

A winner was selected for each category from the five participating elementary schools; Assiginack Public School, Central Manitoulin Public School, Little Current Public School and Pontiac School.  From there, the students competed at the zone level.  Lauren came first in the intermediate zone level and Kaylee won the primary zone level.
