What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Sudbury hosts OFSAA Gymnastics Festival on April 23rd and 24th
Some 225 students will participate in the 50th Anniversary of OFSAA Gymnastics on Monday, April 23rd, 2018 from 9 am to 6 pm and Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 from 8 am to 2:30 pm.
Competitors from across Ontario will vie for honours in five events – floor, vault, beam, bars and aerobic gymnastics. The competition will take place at École secondaire Macdonald-Cartier in Sudbury.
Medals will be presented for first, second and third place finishes. Ribbons will be presented for 4th to 8th place finishes.
Athletes from 38 schools from across Ontario will participate, representing the following associations: Northern Ontario Secondary School Association (NOSSA), South Western Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (SWOSSA), Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA), Southern Ontario Secondary Schools Association (SOSSA), Eastern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (EOSSAA), Georgian Bay Secondary Schools Association (GBSSA), and Central Ontario Secondary Schools Association (COSSA).
