Artbeat will unite current and prospective students, staff, alumni, community members and local artists for an evening of fun and entertainment in support of arts education.

“Art enthusiasts as well as Grade 7 and 8 students and their families are invited to a magical evening of talent and creativity,” says Heather Downey, Principal of Sudbury Secondary School. “Everyone is welcome to join us to see how the arts live here.”

The evening will commence with a mini variety show at 6:30 pm in the Sheridan Auditorium. Guests are invited to explore the school’s art exhibits, join hands-on activities, enjoy live paintings, music and dance performances, browse local vendors, and drop in for a yoga or dance session.

“Artbeat will showcase talent, passion, and the vibrant arts community at Sudbury Secondary School,” says Jessica Crowe, Arts Education Administrator. “Whether you’re looking to participate or soak in the creative atmosphere, there’s a little something for everyone.”

Admission to Artbeat is complimentary. Guests can contribute a donation at the door.
