What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Tickets now on sale for Gatchell School Blacklight Performance
For many years now, Gatchell School, a school for students with special needs, has been entertaining parents, families, friends and elementary school students of the Rainbow District School Board with their Blacklight production.
This year, there will be three performances in the Sheridan Auditorium at Sudbury Secondary School – a matinée open only to elementary school students on Tuesday, March 8th at 11 am and evening performances open to the general public on Tuesday, March 8th and Wednesday, March 9th at 7 pm.
The 90-minute performance, showcasing 70 of Sudbury’s finest special needs students, will leave the audience in awe! The production is an eye opening experience.
“When the lights are off, the special students and their exceptional talents radiate a multitude of colours as they captivate the audience through music and dance,” says Principal Iva McNair. “When the production is over and the lights go on, the Gatchell Gator Stars shine their brightest.”
This production is NOT TO BE MISSED!
Tickets for the evening performance are available at Gatchell School, 31 Tuddenham Avenue, in Sudbury. Phone 705-674-1221. Tickets are $10 per person and should be purchased soon to avoid disappointment.
