“The coming year will herald the beginning a new era in education as we start to implement the Early Learning Program for four and five-year-olds,” said Chair Campbell. “The expansion of Junior Kindergarten to full day, every day will ensure equity of opportunity for all parents/guardians in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin. I look forward to sharing my expertise in this important area and to working with trustees and staff to offer the best program possible for our youngest students.”

Vice-Chair Doreen Dewar is the longest serving trustee with Rainbow District School Board and the former Sudbury Board of Education. She has represented the south end of the City for more than 20 years and been Chair of the Board for multiple terms. As Chair, she made many important presentations to Ministry Standing Committees.
