What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Under the Sea Glow Art Show comes alive at Redwood Acres Public School
Close your eyes and imagine the world under the sea. What do you see?
Fish in vivid hues of orange, red, purple and blue; bright green plants; an octopus with its arms stretched wide; sea turtles swimming among the coral reefs and beds of seagrass.
As part of the Visual Arts curriculum, the students at Redwood Acres Public School came together to complete a themed art project – the Under the Sea Glow Art Show – which has come to life in a colourful display.
There is no need for flippers, snorkels or goggles as students, families and friends visit the school to explore the depths of the ocean.
“We used the magic of black light to create a masterpiece,” said proud Principal Katrina Nadeau. “All of our students and staff had a hand in developing the exhibit, a celebration of curiosity, creativity and community.”
Redwood Acres Public School will host an Open House today (Thursday, February 26, 2026) from 5 pm to 7 pm and invites the community to come out and enjoy the colourful showcase.
Redwood Acres Public School is located at 4625 Carl Street in Hanmer.
Enough said. We’ll let the images do the talking.
