Admission is $3 for adults and free for children. Families can browse through an array of local crafts and products, participate in various activities for children, and enjoy a barbecue. There will also be a penny table and plant sale. Families can also register for painting workshops to make their own art for home under the guidance of Wendy’s Way.

“The Walden Public School Craft Show and Barbecue is an excellent opportunity to support local artisans, spend quality time with family and friends, and contribute to the well-being of children and the community,” said Walden Public School Principal Stephen Winckel.

Everyone is welcome to attend and join in the fun.

Principal Winckel thanked the School Council for organizing the event. “We have a dynamic group of parents/guardians who go the extra mile for our students supported by wonderful community partners,” he said. “They are currently channeling their energy towards our natural playground to further foster imaginative play in the great outdoors.”

Walden Public School provides a nurturing and enriching educational environment for students, empowering them to achieve academic excellence and personal growth. The school and the School Council work together to foster a sense of community and collaboration among students, staff and families.
