Walden Public School third in Ontario for Jump Rope for Heart

Students at Walden Public School were challenged to promote heart health for the 2015 Jump Rope for Heart campaign. After collecting donations and participating in an 80’s spirit day, students raised $ 9,402.10 for the cause and placed third in Ontario for their fundraising efforts. A special cheque presentation took place on Friday, June 5, 2015. The entire school participated, including back row, from left, Sheena Moyle, Dana Head, Eleanore Lowen, Michael Hyland, Mackenzie Allan, Lee Bilec and Danielle Lavallee; middle row, from left, Madison MacIsaac, Mykaila Sammon and Jordyn Vildis; and front row, from left, Nolan Moxam and Sam Dewit.
