A candidate profile for Director of Education for Rainbow District School Board is now available online at rainbowschools.ca. The profile outlines the Board’s key leadership priorities as well as the qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge, competencies and qualities of the ideal candidate.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Promeus – Partners in Executive Search, I would like to thank everyone who responded to the request for input for the candidate profile,” said Board Chair Doreen Dewar. “This is an important part of the search process as we look to recruit the best person for the role.”
The profile features 12 key leadership priorities in keeping with the Board’s vision, mission and values – well-being and mental health; literacy and numeracy; equity, diversity and inclusion; Indigenous education; governance; strategic leadership and management; continuous improvement and innovation; human resource and leadership development; employee relations and staff well-being; operational stewardship; environmental stewardship; and public confidence and communication.
The profile also outlines the leadership competencies and characteristics identified as important during consultations. The attributes in the profile will be used to assess candidates throughout the search and selection process.
Rainbow District School Board invites confidential applications and nominations for the role of Director of Education by 2 pm on Monday, June 14, 2021. The successful candidate will assume the position on or before September 1, 2021.
