Rainbow District School Board, with schools in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin Island, is accepting applications from qualified teachers for the following permanent assignments commencing September 2, 2026 

Pay for a teaching position at Rainbow District School Board is in alignment with the terms of the Central  Agreement with ETFO or OSSTF. The pay is based on QECO qualifications and years of experience (as approved by the Board). These postings are for existing vacancies. 

Gord Ewin Centre – Itinerant Teacher
214-06  1.0  Itinerant Teacher of the Blind/Low Vision 

Candidate must have Teaching Students who are Blind/Low Vision Part 1, Special Education Part 1 and have demonstrated experience in working with students with special education needs is required. The teacher in this position will be required to travel to all schools in the Board. Applicants should clarify travel requirements for this position with Principal Coleen Eberlein.
